Today is the day! Author-slash-YouTuber Jenna Moreci has officially launched her latest book, The Savior’s Champion, and to celebrate, I did the TSC tag on my YouTube channel!
Thinking positively is something I’ve always strived for — and I feel like I do a pretty good job! But as an advocate for cheerful mindsets, I felt like I couldn’t turn down reading this short book for review.

In February 2016, legislation surfaced in Virginia that, if passed, would have permitted the “banning” of certain works of literature in the state’s grade schools. Parents would be allowed to opt their children out of reading books containing material that they do not approve of, particularly if the subject matter has “sexually explicit” content.
The bill ended up passing in both the Virginia House and Senate, but was (thankfully) vetoed by then-Governor Terry McAuliffe.
But this isn’t the first time “banning books” has been an issue in the U.S. — and it likely won’t be the last.
I definitely did not read enough books to do a separate video for each month of the year so far, so I am wrapping up all of the books I read in a quarterly video for now! I’m not sure if it will always be this way, but for now, that’s how it is.
